- Support payroll integrations between Workday and third-party providers, including payroll, tax, retirement, and other downstream systems.
- Troubleshoot integration failures, mapping issues, data discrepancies, and configuration changes impacting payroll.
- Support global payroll integrations with external payroll providers.
- Configure and maintain Workday business processes and payroll-related functionality.
- Support ongoing Workday enhancements and evaluate potential downstream impacts before deployment.
- Build and maintain straightforward Workday integrations and APIs as needed.

- Participate in testing and validation of Workday configuration changes and integrations.
- Manage day-to-day HRIS support requests as well as project-based initiatives.
- Collaborate with HRIS, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, IT, and other internal stakeholders.
- Required Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Workday Payroll, particularly U.S. Payroll.
- Experience configuring and supporting Workday Payroll in a production environment.
- Strong understanding of Workday payroll configuration including earnings, deductions, taxes, and payroll calculations.

- Ability to understand payroll requirements and translate them into Workday configuration.
- Experience with Workday integration tools and methodologies.
- Experience troubleshooting data feeds, mappings, integration failures, and downstream system issues.
- Experience supporting a mature Workday production environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work closely with payroll subject matter experts and other HRIS team members.
- Preferred Experience
- Workday U.S. Payroll experience supporting employees across multiple states, including California.
- Exposure to U.K. Payroll.
- Experience with global payroll integrations and providers such as ADP and CloudPay.
- Experience with retirement/benefits integrations such as Fidelity.
- Experience building and maintaining straightforward Workday integrations and APIs.
- Exposure to Workday reporting.
- Experience supporting complex, global organizations.
- Ideal Candidate
- The ideal candidate is a hands-on Workday Payroll professional who enjoys troubleshooting and production support. This person should be comfortable investigating why a payroll calculation, tax, deduction, earning, or downstream integration is not behaving as expected and working across Payroll and HRIS teams to resolve the issue quickly.
