  • Location(s): The role offers a hybrid schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 60% of working time in an office. Preferred locations: Minneapolis, MN, Or Charlotte, NC

  • The HR Product team is seeking an experienced Workday HCM Product Solutions Consultant to join an Agile team responsible for defining and prioritizing the product backlog in alignment with business vision and priorities. In this position you will be responsible for the design, configuration, testing and delivery of system capabilities to enhance employee, and stakeholder experiences, promoting cross functional collaboration to drive innovation while working in an agile framework to deliver the highest value.. The consultant will participate in and facilitate sessions to automate scalable business processes, rules, and workflows that support rapidly changing strategies and employee experience needs. This individual will partner closely with business customers to understand needs, define desired outcomes, identify gaps and solution opportunities, support release and product planning, and manage delivery expectations.
  • Responsibilities include
  • · Partnering with business stakeholders and product teams to gather, refine, and document Workday HCM requirements.
  • · Support configuration, enhancement, and optimization of Core HCM functionality within Workday.
  • · Translate business requirements into functional Workday capabilities and scalable solution designs.
  • · Coordinate and complete user acceptance testing prior to release, including issue tracking, validation, and defect resolution support.
  • · Collaborate with executive-level employees, product owners, and cross-functional partners to ensure successful delivery.
  • · Provide functional support and guidance related to the Workday Business Process Framework
  • This role will have a specific focus on Workday HCM.
  • Basic Qualifications
  • - Bachelor’s degree in information systems or computer engineering, human resources or equivalent work experience
  • - 5 or more years of relevant technical experience in Workday
  • - Experience gathering requirements, designing solutions, prototyping, and testing Workday Core HCM solutions based on customer needs
  • Preferred Skills/Experience
  • - Global configuration experience in Workday
  • - Knowledge of offer letter configuration, job requisitions, and job application dynamic process configuration.
  • - Advanced ability to support complex analysis of current and future product development, evaluate new applications or vendors, and drive automation within complex product environments.
  • - Advanced knowledge of desktop technology, Microsoft Office, Windows infrastructure, industry trends, tools, and key enterprise software.
  • - Thorough knowledge of HR functions and business rules, including payroll, compensation, recruiting, staffing practices, and benefits.
  • - Comprehensive expertise in HR strategic platforms, including Workday and Jira, and the broader HR technology ecosystem.
  • - Ability to identify threats and vulnerabilities in cloud environments.
  • - Proven experience configuring and designing complex workflows and business rules.
  • - Ability to recommend process or technical changes.
  • - Effective verbal and written communication skills.
