- Job Opportunity: Data Engineer
- Location: Remote
- Duration: 6 months Contract
- Key Responsibility
- Position Description:
- Migrate molecular design datasets into Snowflake.
- Partner with Chemists to define and build data products.
- Design and develop scalable data solutions in Snowflake.
- Build and maintain data models for scientific data consumption.
- Support GCD and In Silico Design teams with accessible, consumable datasets.
- Develop pipelines to deliver data to downstream systems and users.
- Optimize Snowflake architecture for scale, performance, and cost.
- Implement CI/CD processes for data engineering workflows.
- Enable AI-driven data solutions using Snowflake agent capabilities.
- Required Skills:
- Snowflake
- Experience building scalable data products in Snowflake
- Data modeling and data product development
- Data engineering and large-scale data manipulation
- DBT (or similar data transformation tools)
- CI/CD pipelines and automation
- Agentic AI
- Strong stakeholder collaboration skills
- Bonus Skills:
- SnowPro Certification
- Chemistry, Bioinformatics, or Life Sciences background
- Drug discovery or molecular design experience
- Experience supporting scientific research data platforms
- Knowledge of data governance in regulated environments
- Snowflake Cortex / Coworker / Agent Framework
- Small molecule and in vitro data experience
