• About the Role
• Balingore Invest is building its operational analytics capabilities to support business growth, improve operating visibility, and strengthen data-driven decision-making. We are looking for a Vice President of Operations Analytics to lead the development of operational analytics, performance reporting, business intelligence, and data-driven operating processes across the organization.
• This is a senior leadership role with responsibility across operational reporting, performance analytics, KPI development, forecasting, business intelligence, process analysis, and executive decision support. The VP of Operations Analytics will work closely with senior leadership to turn operational data into actionable insights and establish a clear framework for measuring business performance.
• You will partner closely with Operations, Finance, Investment, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Business Development. Because Balingore Invest is operating in a dynamic investment environment, this role will have meaningful influence over how operational data, reporting standards, performance metrics, and analytical processes are established and scaled.
• Experience in investment management, financial services, fintech, banking, trading, asset management, or another data-intensive environment is helpful. Strong analytical and operational experience is highly valued.
• Responsibilities
• Own the operations analytics strategy, reporting framework, KPI structure, and performance measurement processes for Balingore Invest.
• Lead the development of operational dashboards, management reports, performance metrics, and analytical tools used by senior leadership.
• Analyze operational performance, business trends, resource utilization, workflow efficiency, and key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Establish standardized definitions, reporting methodologies, data processes, and analytical frameworks across operational functions.
• Partner with Operations and senior leadership to identify business questions, develop analytical approaches, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Build forecasting and scenario-analysis models to support operational planning, resource allocation, growth initiatives, and strategic decision-making.
• Monitor operational KPIs and develop reporting mechanisms that provide leadership with clear visibility into business performance and emerging risks.
• Identify operational bottlenecks, inefficiencies, recurring issues, and process gaps through quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Develop analytical frameworks for evaluating new business initiatives, operational changes, strategic projects, and investment-related processes.
• Work closely with Finance to connect operational performance data with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
• Partner with Technology and Data teams to improve data quality, reporting infrastructure, analytics platforms, and automated reporting capabilities.
• Evaluate and implement business intelligence, data visualization, reporting, and analytics tools that can scale with the organization.
• Establish data governance and reporting standards to improve consistency, accuracy, and reliability across operational reporting.
• Develop executive-level dashboards and presentations that communicate complex operational information clearly to senior leadership.
• Support senior executives with ad hoc analysis, performance reviews, business cases, and decision-support materials.
• Conduct root-cause analysis on operational performance issues and work with functional leaders to develop measurable improvement plans.
• Develop capacity, staffing, workflow, and resource-utilization analysis to support organizational planning.
• Partner with Risk and Compliance to develop appropriate operational monitoring and reporting for key controls, processes, and business risks.
• Track the effectiveness of operational initiatives and establish measurement frameworks to evaluate results over time.
• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing operations analytics team as business needs expand.
• Maintain a high standard of analytical accuracy, business judgment, ownership, and accountability in a fast-moving environment.
• What We're Looking For
• We are looking for a senior analytics leader who combines strong quantitative expertise with operational judgment and the ability to turn complex data into practical business decisions.
• You should be comfortable moving between strategy and execution, working with senior leadership, analyzing complex operational information, and building analytical structures in a growing organization.
• The strongest candidates will typically have:
• 10+ years of progressive experience in operations analytics, business intelligence, data analytics, strategy, business operations, or related analytical leadership roles.
• Significant senior leadership experience as a VP of Operations Analytics, VP of Business Intelligence, Head of Operations Analytics, Head of Business Analytics, Analytics Executive, or equivalent leader.
• Experience in investment management, financial services, fintech, banking, trading, asset management, technology, or another data-intensive environment.
• Demonstrated experience building or scaling analytics functions, reporting frameworks, KPI systems, dashboards, and data-driven operating processes.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn complex datasets into clear executive recommendations.
• Strong knowledge of operational KPIs, performance measurement, forecasting, scenario analysis, business intelligence, and process optimization.
• Experience working with large or complex datasets and translating analytical findings into practical operational improvements.
• Experience partnering with senior executives and cross-functional teams including Operations, Finance, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Investment, and Business Development.
• Demonstrated ability to build executive-level reporting and dashboards that clearly communicate business performance and emerging trends.
• Experience with business intelligence, data visualization, reporting, analytics, or workflow automation platforms.
• Strong understanding of data quality, reporting consistency, analytical methodology, and data governance.
• Strong executive communication skills and the ability to explain complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong judgment around data interpretation, business performance, resource allocation, operational risk, and strategic priorities.
• The ability to challenge assumptions constructively, identify meaningful patterns, and create analytical structure without unnecessary complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, Computer Science, or a related field required. MBA, CFA, or other relevant advanced credentials are a plus.
• Experience in investment, financial markets, or asset management is a plus, but it is not a requirement.
• We are also interested in candidates from financial institutions, fintech, consulting, technology companies, investment firms, trading organizations, and high-growth businesses.
• Location and Work Arrangement
• This position is based in the United States. Balingore Invest offers remote, hybrid, and on-site working arrangements depending on the individual, location, and business needs.
• Travel may be required as needed for leadership meetings, strategic planning, business reviews, training, partner discussions, and industry events.
