Overview

Vice President Director, Data & Analysis

The Data & Analysis team uses data-driven insights to fuel strategic growth for clients. We believe that data should never exist in a vacuum; instead, it should be put to work to bring the best ideas and stories to our clients.

To help with this, we’re looking for an outstanding Vice President/Director — someone who can align data-driven strategy with client goals, direct ongoing client relationships, and lead a team of analysts and experienced team members.

Responsibilities

As Vice President/Director, you'll guide internal teams in driving business growth while consistently exceeding client expectations and strengthening overall client relationships. This role is specifically focused on supporting a globally renowned CPG client and requires strong B2B experience, with a proven ability to translate complex business challenges into data-driven strategies and solutions. Clients' needs will vary and may include integrated marketing, media, CRM, segmentation, primary research, and broader data and analytics initiatives.

Day-to-day, Your Role Includes

  • Identifying strategic, data-driven services and opportunities that will allow clients to grow their business.
  • Assisting clients in defining analytics needs and developing solutions to address complex business challenges.
  • Creating frameworks and methodologies for approaching major strategic issues, leveraging existing agency intellectual capital and developing innovative concepts.
  • Building and executing client-specific data strategies, including performing gap assessments, creating optimal-state data plans, and developing actionable execution roadmaps.
  • Evaluating new online and offline data opportunities, including new data sources, emerging technologies, client priorities, partnerships, and other evolving opportunities.
  • Applying deep B2B expertise to develop data-driven strategies and solutions that address complex customer, audience, and business challenges.
  • Fostering creative thinking around how data can be used to solve unique business challenges and support marketing activities across Media, Creative, CRM, and eCommerce, with a particular focus on B2B audiences, customer journeys, segmentation, and growth opportunities.
  • Identifying new opportunities within existing client relationships and participating in new business initiatives.
  • Providing support, coaching, and training to assist in the career development of direct reports and the broader team.

Qualifications

We're looking for strong, impactful work experience, which typically includes:

  • 10–12 years of experience in analytics, data strategy, or consulting, ideally within an advertising agency, management consulting company, ad tech company, or similar environment.
  • Significant B2B experience is required, with a strong understanding of B2B audiences, customer journeys, segmentation, data, and the unique challenges of B2B marketing.
  • Experience developing and executing data-driven strategies and solutions to address complex business and marketing challenges.
  • Experience managing and developing a team.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, strategic, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with modern statistical learning methods, including regression techniques, classification models, and supervised and unsupervised learning.
  • Knowledge of digital data technologies, including DMPs, Google Analytics, digital pixel tracking, site tagging, and related technologies.
  • General knowledge of or direct experience with the media industry, CRM platforms, marketing technology, or data ecosystems is a plus.
  • A four-year college degree; an advanced degree is a plus.
  • Proven leadership ability with strong client relationship and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of data-driven marketing, digital advertising, and emerging trends in the broader data and technology landscape.
  • The ability to translate complex data and analytics into clear, actionable business recommendations for senior clients and stakeholders.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and deadline-driven environment.
  • Open to travel as needed.
  • Familiarity with prompt-based interaction and commonly used generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Google Gemini, DALL·E, Midjourney) is a plus, particularly for ideation, research, analysis, and content generation.

Compensation Range: USD $135,375.00 - USD $194,460.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
