VBC Actuarial Analyst/Senior Actuarial Analyst

Oliver James are currently partnered with a US Healthcare Risk Platform seeking a VBC Actuarial Analyst to work in an entrepreneurial non-traditional actuarial role.

Actuarial Analyst/Senior Actuarial Analyst responsible for analyzing, processing, and drawing insights from customer data, and leading day-to-day relationships with key partners. This role would suit someone who wants to be deeply embedded in one of healthcare's fastest-growing markets rather than working in a traditional actuarial environment.

Role requirements:

• 2-5+ years of experience in a healthcare actuarial role
• ASA or FSA designation preferred, pre-ASA required
• 3-Experience in Medicare claims data and emerging ACO models
• What makes this particularly interesting is the level of ownership and visibility - you'd work directly alongside the founders, COO, and senior actuarial leadership on strategic initiatives shaping the future of value-based care. The environment is extremely entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and high-impact, with the ability to influence both product and business strategy from an early stage.

The role is based in New York City with a strong in-office culture, although there may be flexibility for exceptional candidates in key actuarial hubs.
