Summary

  • Whitecap Search is looking for a dedicated professional to join our expanding Treasury team. This role focuses on:
  • Managing wire operations and optimizing FX cash balances.
  • Collaborating on system improvements within a fast-paced, diverse environment.
  • Driving creativity and excellence in daily operations.
  • Ensuring efficient cash and collateral management operations.
  • Building and enhancing Treasury systems and processes.
  • Function
  • Your daily responsibilities will include:
  • Supervising cash and collateral management operations for both corporate and fund entities, ensuring accounts are adequately funded and movements are settled.
  • Conducting the daily margin process, handling excess cash at Prime Brokers, FCMs, OTC bilateral counterparties, and custodians, ensuring accuracy and managing disputes.
  • Leading FX cash balance optimization, from instruction through settlement.
  • Liaising with teams such as Accounting and Operations to handle capital activity.
  • Managing lines of credit for corporate cash planning.
  • Performing money market fund trades to invest excess cash and fund transactions for corporate entities.
  • Collaborating with colleagues on the Engineering team to build/enhance Treasury systems and processes.
  • Developing a network of partners across corporate and external counterparties.
  • Requirements
  • You should possess the following qualifications and skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a similar field with a strong academic track record.
  • 2-4 years of treasury or collateral management related experience from an asset manager, fund administrator, or bank.
  • Experience handling payments and collateral movements.
  • Knowledge of SWIFT messaging types and formatting.
  • Experience with the following is a plus:
  • Handling margin for prime broker, FCM, and/or OTC bilateral counterparty relationships.
  • An understanding of margin methodologies.
  • Improving/building operational systems/processes.
  • Basic coding and/or advanced Excel.
