Job Title: Treasury Analyst

Job Description

The Treasury Analyst supports daily treasury operations by managing cash, investments, and payments across multiple corporate entities. This role focuses on online banking administration, cash reporting, and timely processing of wires and ACH payments, while ensuring strong internal controls and accurate documentation. The Treasury Analyst also contributes to liquidity management, forecasting, and audit support to enhance visibility and decision-making for leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Treasury Manager and Senior Treasury Analyst with day-to-day treasury operations, including online banking administration, cash reporting, and management of the Treasury Operations mailbox.
  • Prepare, process, and track domestic and international wires, ACH payments, and intercompany transfers for multiple corporate entities, ensuring required approvals, accurate documentation, and correct wiring instructions are in place.
  • Monitor daily cash positions across accounts and entities to ensure sufficient liquidity is available to meet operational funding needs.
  • Assist with the daily investment of excess cash balances, including activities related to a cash investment portfolio of more than $200 million, as applicable.
  • Maintain and distribute daily cash, investment, and liquidity reports to provide management with clear visibility into cash positions and support informed decision-making.
  • Update the 13-week cash flow forecast on a daily basis and reset or refresh related reporting files on a weekly basis to ensure forecasts remain accurate and current.
  • Maintain and manage reporting for cash sweep activity, including coordinating with vendors, obtaining key reports, and supporting invoice reconciliations.
  • Prepare comprehensive wire support packages containing evidence of approvals, supporting documentation, and bank instructions to meet accounting, audit, and compliance requirements.
  • Reconcile daily treasury activity to entity records and bank statements to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of cash-related transactions.
  • Assist with financial audit requests, including gathering documentation, providing explanations of treasury activities, and supporting internal control testing.
  • Support internal control initiatives and documentation retention processes related to treasury operations to maintain strong governance and compliance.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries submitted through the Treasury Operations mailbox, providing clear and accurate information to internal stakeholders.
  • Perform other treasury, accounting, and special project duties as assigned to support broader finance and treasury objectives.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of treasury operational experience preferred, with exposure to corporate treasury functions.
  • Hands-on experience with cash management activities, including monitoring cash positions and managing liquidity.
  • Experience with payment processing, including wires, ACH payments, and intercompany transfers.
  • Familiarity with bank platforms and online banking administration for corporate accounts.
  • Strong reconciliation skills, including the ability to reconcile daily treasury activity to entity records and bank statements.
  • Experience supporting financial reporting related to cash, investments, and liquidity.
  • Understanding of audit processes and internal control requirements related to treasury operations.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data and documentation.
  • Ability to respond promptly and professionally to inquiries and operate effectively in a fast-paced treasury environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Prior experience preparing and maintaining daily cash, investment, and liquidity reports.
  • Experience assisting with the management of a cash investment portfolio, including investment of excess cash balances.
  • Exposure to 13-week cash flow forecasting and the maintenance of related reporting files.
  • Experience coordinating with external vendors for cash sweep activity and obtaining required reports.
  • Familiarity with preparing wire support packages for accounting, audit, and compliance purposes.
  • Supporting documentation retention and internal control frameworks in a treasury or finance function.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines across entities and accounts.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with internal stakeholders and responding to operational inquiries.

Work Environment

This role follows a hybrid work schedule with three days per week in the office, aligned to a Dallas-based hub. The in-office days are typically Wednesday, Thursday, and every other Friday, with the remaining days worked remotely. The position operates in a professional corporate environment, collaborating closely with treasury, accounting, and finance colleagues and using bank platforms and financial systems to manage cash, payments, and reporting. The role involves regular interaction via email and other communication tools through the Treasury Operations mailbox and requires reliable attendance on designated in-office days.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Coppell, TX.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $31.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
