Toxicology Analytics Intern

Acutis Diagnostics is seeking a highly motivated and analytical intern to support the enhancement of our Toxicology Population Health Reporting platform. This internship is ideal for an undergraduate or graduate student pursuing studies in Forensic Science, Toxicology, Public Health, Clinical Laboratory Science, Data Analytics, Epidemiology, or a related scientific discipline. The intern will assist in identifying emerging substance use trends, co-use patterns, abnormal testing behaviors, and population-level risk indicators through the analysis of toxicology laboratory data. This role offers hands-on exposure to real-world healthcare analytics, laboratory medicine, substance use monitoring, and population health intelligence. This is an excellent opportunity for a student interested in the intersection of toxicology, forensic science, healthcare analytics, and data-driven clinical decision making. Key Responsibilities Assist in the enhancement and optimization of toxicology population health reports and dashboards Analyze toxicology testing data to identify: Substance use trends Emerging drug patterns Co-use relationships Regional and demographic trends Inconsistencies or anomalies in patient testing behavior Conduct research on emerging substances, drug classes, and toxicology trends impacting healthcare populations Support the development of meaningful clinical insights and reporting narratives for healthcare providers and treatment organizations Collaborate with laboratory operations, data analytics, and clinical leadership teams Help validate data accuracy and reporting consistency Assist in translating laboratory data into actionable population health intelligence Prepare summaries, presentations, and visual reporting enhancements for internal stakeholders and clients Pay: $1.00/hour , please speak with a member of our HR team regarding this.
