Job Overview
We are seeking a Tier I NSOC Analyst to support a 24/7 Network Security Operations Center by monitoring mission-critical systems and responding to operational events. This role is responsible for identifying, documenting, and escalating alerts, assisting with incident response, and maintaining operational readiness in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working rotating shifts.
Job Duties
Support a 24/7 operations schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Monitor mission-critical communication sites and information systems for operational events.
Classify, prioritize, document, and escalate alerts in accordance with established procedures.
Perform event triage, data collection, and technical analysis to distinguish valid issues from false positives.
Capture and document events received through email, chat, voice, and monitoring systems.
Assist with network and security incident response activities.
Collaborate with team members to improve playbooks, dashboards, metrics, and detection strategies.
Coordinate with stakeholders to communicate incident status and recommended response actions.
