Job Description:

  • Client is seeking a Telecom Business Analyst to manage our client’s telecom asset inventory as part of our Managed Services organization. This role sits at the intersection of business analysis and telecom operations - ensuring alignment with client and stakeholder objectives in the North American and Latin American regions. The successful candidate will report directly to the Senior Telecom Program Manager and will work with our client’s Telecom/IT resources on an ongoing basis.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage overall telecom asset inventory as it applies to the client’s CCaaS contact center environments in your NA & LATAM geographic region. Telecom asset inventory reports and regular work with our client’s Telecom/IT resources and leadership is required.
  • Gather, document, and audit existing telecom asset inventory across multiple regional carriers.
  • Identify inefficiencies within telecom assets and operations, and recommend/lead initiatives to optimize cost structures, and service quality.
  • Act as the primary liaison to delivery team leads, as well as to client business stakeholders, technical teams, and organizations to ensure alignment on scope, priorities, and timelines.
  • Manage communications with all in-region telco carriers for asset resource allocation.
  • Support telecom expense management (TEM), inventory, and asset lifecycle. Experience with the Calero telecom management platform is an asset.
  • Identify and mitigate regional risks proactively, escalating issues with clear recommendations and resolution paths.
  • Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Telecommunications, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in similar roles as telecom analyst / asset.
  • Strong command of program management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) and supporting tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Additional language skills in-region would be an asset.
  • Ability to work independently in a contract capacity while integrating closely with client and internal teams.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using Calero telecom management software is an asset.
  • PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent program/project management certification.
  • Background in telecom expense management (TEM), OSS/BSS systems, or carrier services.
  • Experience working within or alongside Managed Services organizations.
