- Job Title: Technical Business Analyst

- Role Overview
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Technical Business Analyst to support cost transparency, financial analysis, and strategic decision-making within Technology Infrastructure. This role requires strong data analysis capabilities, financial modeling expertise, and the ability to translate complex technical and financial data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
- Key Responsibilities
- 1. Cost Transparency & Analysis
- Analyze and decompose fully loaded Technology Infrastructure costs at program and funding request levels
- Develop clear and scalable cost attribution models across infrastructure components
- Identify key cost drivers, trends, and variances to support strategic decisions
- Improve transparency in cost structures and reporting frameworks
- 2. Scenario Modelling & What-If Analysis
- Collaborate with Technology Business Managers to build scenario-based financial models
- Evaluate cost impacts across:
- Products
- Applications
- Business segments
- Regions
- Legal entities
- Translate complex datasets into clear, executive-ready insights and reports
- Highlight risks, opportunities, and material financial changes
- Support planning, forecasting, and investment decision processes
- 3. Stakeholder Support & Ad Hoc Analysis
- Provide analytical support for ad hoc requests from senior leadership
- Partner with Finance and Technology teams on:
- Budgeting
- Forecasting
- Funding discussions
- Contribute to enhancing cost transparency methodologies and reporting tools
- Continuously improve analytical frameworks and dashboards
- Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience with:
- Snowflake / SnowSQL (data querying, transformation, validation)
- Power BI (dashboard development, visualization, storytelling)
- Advanced Excel (financial modeling, large dataset analysis)
- PowerPoint (executive-level presentations and communication)
- Solid understanding of financial analysis, cost modeling, and data interpretation
- Ability to synthesize large datasets into meaningful business insights
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with AI-enabled productivity and analytics tools such as:
- Microsoft 365 Copilot
- Power BI Copilot
- GitHub Copilot
- Claude, Grok, or similar generative AI platforms
- Ability to leverage AI tools for:
- Enhanced analysis
- Faster modeling
- Insight generation
- Exposure to Technology Infrastructure cost frameworks or FinOps practices
