About the Role: Oktana is seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Taxonomy Analyst to join our data optimization team. This role is focused on content classification, metadata management, and high-volume data validation to support advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning models. The ideal candidate possesses strong pattern recognition skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment while adhering to strict data labeling guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform detailed taxonomy, metadata design, and content classification tasks across large-scale datasets.
Execute high-volume data labeling, annotation, and rigorous data validation workflows.
Review complex datasets to identify patterns, inconsistencies, and anomalies, ensuring compliance with established quality guidelines.
Apply analytical methodology to ensure high precision and data integrity in text-based environments.
Collaborate on localization and multilingual content quality assessments where necessary.
Position Requirements (Must-Have):
Native-level fluency in English is mandatory.
Proven professional experience in data taxonomy, metadata management, or structured content classification.
Direct experience in data labeling, annotation, and validation of high-volume datasets.
Strong analytical capabilities with demonstrated attention to detail and pattern recognition.
Proven ability to interpret complex labeling instructions and execute tasks with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have):
Knowledge of HR or job-related taxonomies (e.g., mapping corporate job roles, organizational structures, and professional skills).
Proficiency in data tools such as SQL, advanced Excel, or Google Sheets.
Hands-on experience interacting with LLMs and AI productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude).
Experience in localization or managing multilingual digital content.
