Tax Analyst
The person’s responsibilities include working on federal tax accounting and compliance related to fixed asset DD&A (depreciation, depletion and amortization).
- Initial preparer of tax DD&A workpapers.
- Perform account reconciliations, identify and investigate outages.
- Analyze individual transactions, including pulling GL detail and supporting documentation from various EOG systems and applications.
- Assist with preparation of tax DD&A inputs for forecasting and modeling.
- Assist with tax department administrative duties.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Prefers DD&A experience
- 2 + years federal corporate income tax experience
- Must be very detail oriented, with multi-tasking capabilities
- Requires strong working relationships with various groups within the Tax Department
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Prefers PRIMO experience
- Prefers HFM experience
- Oil and Gas industry experience a plus
- Income tax accounting experience a plus
