We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Tax Analyst to drive research, shape products, and provide thought leadership spanning the most complex and diverse Canadian tax issues. Your insights will help guide strategic business decisions and enable the delivery of market-leading tax solutions.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research, analysis, and thorough documentation of high-to-highest complexity tax issues with broad scope and business impact.
  • Evaluate product features and enhancements by developing roadmaps, breaking down initiatives into epics and stories, and collaborating cross-functionally with business stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and prioritize team and community activities, ensuring project success and well-groomed backlogs and acceptance criteria.
  • Establish and maintain standards for the technical requirements of tax content, ensuring best practices are developed, documented, and consistently applied organization-wide.
  • Sequence and estimate team activities to inform project plans and sprint schedules.
  • Devise innovative solutions for tax-related challenges and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide strategic analysis of tax issues and identify opportunities with significant business ramifications.
  • Communicate complex tax concepts in a clear, concise manner for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Qualifications & Skills
  • Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience preparing and/or reviewing Canadian federal and provincial tax returns, including T2 Corporate Tax (mandatory).
  • Deep expertise in tax research, analysis, and Canadian tax law.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical tax information for diverse audiences.
  • Proficient use of tax preparation software; direct experience with T2 returns is required. Experience with TaxCycle, TaxPrep, and ProFile is a strong asset.
  • Exceptional written and spoken communication skills.
  • Strategic thinker able to balance detail-oriented execution with broad business understanding.
