Motion Recruitment is hiring a Tax Analyst (6-Month Contract | Toronto, ON)!
We're partnering with a leading technology company that's looking for an experienced Tax Analyst to support the upcoming tax season.
In this role, you'll research and analyze complex Canadian tax issues, support tax content development, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help ensure tax compliance and accuracy.
Qualifications:
5+ years of relevant tax experience or post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Hands-on experience preparing and/or reviewing Canadian T1 personal income tax returns (T1 experience is required)
TP1 (Quebec) experience is a strong asset
Strong knowledge of Canadian tax law and tax research
Experience with tax preparation software such as TaxCycle, TaxPrep, or ProFile is an asset
Excellent communication and analytical skills
Details:
6-month contract
Onsite in Toronto, ON (8 Spadina Avenue)
Please Note: Cross-border tax experience alone does not meet the requirements for this role, and data entry-only T1 experience is not sufficient.
