  • We are seeking a Tax Analyst Intermediate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in tax data analysis, income tax provision support, and customer tax documentation and a proven ability to analyze, validate, and process tax data accurately under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and process tax information received from multiple sources.
  • Assist in preparing information for filing documents and maintaining tax records.
  • Support updates and maintenance of earnings and profits, foreign taxes paid, parent company stock basis, and audit proceedings.
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing income tax provision calculations.
  • Maintain awareness of current technical and business developments impacting tax compliance.
  • Research and analyze tax issues, including foreign country tax matters, as they arise.
  • Analyze, review, and validate moderate to complex tax forms, including W-9, W-8BEN, W-8BEN-E, W-8IMY, W-8EXP, and W-8ECI.
  • Accurately process customer tax profile data across client and account-level systems and verify downstream data feeds.
  • Update tracking mechanisms to ensure complete and accurate data capture.
  • Learn and use multiple complex databases and systems within required timelines.
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing and support system validations as needed.
  • Build effective relationships with stakeholders and escalate issues and discrepancies appropriately.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, IF formulas, and PivotTables.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail with accurate data entry and validation.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
  • Problem solving and analytical thinking with sound judgment and client-centric decision-making.
  • Experience with Microsoft desktop applications and navigating multiple systems.
  • Basic SQL or data querying skills for validations and reconciliations.
  • 3-6 years of relevant tax operations, compliance, or data analysis experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Background with tax documentation or tax forms processing.
  • Exposure to foreign tax issues or international tax data.
