About the Role

We are a software and API company building a global trade intelligence platform that provides tariff, customs, and regulatory data for businesses worldwide. We are seeking a detail-oriented Tariff Data Analyst to research, verify, and maintain accurate tariff information used by our SaaS platform and developer APIs.

Key Responsibilities

• * Research global import and export tariff schedules using official government and customs sources.
• * Maintain and update tariff rates, preferential tariffs, FTAs, anti-dumping duties, safeguard measures, and rules of origin.
• * Validate HS code classifications and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• * Monitor changes to customs regulations, tariff revisions, and trade agreements.
• * Structure and organize tariff data for integration into databases, APIs, and software applications.
• * Work closely with engineering, product, and regulatory teams to improve data quality and coverage.
• * Document research methodologies and maintain clear audit trails for data sources.

Requirements

• * Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in International Trade, Customs, Economics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• * Experience researching tariffs, customs regulations, HS codes, or trade compliance.
• * Strong analytical and data management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• * Ability to interpret legal and regulatory documents.
• * Proficiency with spreadsheets and online research tools; experience with databases or SQL is an advantage.
• * Excellent written English and the ability to work independently.
