Role Description The Systems Analyst at CSOA Centre du soutien des opérations et des acheminements will support the analysis, design, and optimization of information systems that enable operational and logistics activities. In this part-time remote role, the Systems Analyst will work closely with stakeholders to gather and refine business requirements, document workflows, and translate operational needs into clear system specifications. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing existing systems and processes, identifying gaps or inefficiencies, and recommending improvements or new solutions. The role also involves collaborating with IT teams on configuration or development tasks, participating in testing activities, and supporting implementation and user acceptance. The Systems Analyst will provide ongoing system support through troubleshooting, incident analysis, and preparation of clear documentation and user guides.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in systems-focused disciplines, including Systems Analysis and Information Technology, with the ability to understand how applications, data, and infrastructure interact.
Proficient Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret complex information, identify patterns, and apply structured problem-solving methods.
Experience in Business Analysis, including gathering and documenting requirements, mapping processes, and aligning solutions with organizational goals.
Proven Troubleshooting abilities for technical and functional issues, including diagnosing root causes and coordinating effective resolutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders in a remote environment.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities on a part-time schedule.
Experience with system testing, user acceptance testing support, and creating user documentation or training materials.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Familiarity with project management or agile methodologies is an asset, as is experience in operations, logistics, or similar support environments.
