- Job Title: Systems Analyst – ServiceNow
- Location: McLean, VA (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)
- Duration: 12 Month Contract-to-Hire
- Compensation Range: $46-54/hour (Final compensation will be based on experience and skillset)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our client (Fortune 100 Hospitality) in support of a dynamic ServiceNow deployment initiative. In this role, you will serve as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical development teams, ensuring that complex business needs are accurately translated into clear, actionable technical specifications. You will play a key role in driving the success of the deployment by contributing to documentation, testing, collaboration, and continuous process improvement efforts. Responsibilities:
- - Analyze business needs and translate them into detailed technical specifications to support a ServiceNow deployment
- - Leverage experience with ServiceNow workflows and reporting to inform and enhance technical solutions
- - Create comprehensive technical specification documents for development teams
- - Refine user stories and use cases into detailed technical specifications
- - Maintain and manage updates to all documentation as requirements evolve
- - Work closely with ServiceNow developers to ensure full understanding of technical specifications
- - Assist in troubleshooting technical issues during the development phase
- - Develop and execute test cases based on functional and technical specifications
- - Support the testing phase to validate that delivered products meet specified requirements
- - Identify opportunities for process improvements in requirement gathering and documentation
- - Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for technical documentation and processes
Skills:
- - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly
- - Strong documentation skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- - Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including developers and business stakeholders
- - Analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement
- - Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to evolving requirements in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
- - 3+ years gathering, analyzing, and translating business requirements into technical specifications
- - 2+ years experience with ServiceNow workflows and reporting
- - 1+ years experience developing and executing test cases and supporting validation efforts
- - ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or equivalent certification preferred
- - Relevant certifications in business analysis, such as the Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), are a plus
