About The Role
The Senior Systems Analyst at Green Bay Packaging - Coated Products plays a pivotal role in managing and optimizing enterprise systems, integrations, and data infrastructure to support sales and overall business performance. This position acts as a strategic partner to IT, vendors, and cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless system functionality, high data quality, and scalable processes that align with long-term business objectives. The role involves driving continuous improvement initiatives by streamlining workflows, automating manual processes, and enhancing user experience through effective training and troubleshooting. Additionally, the Senior Systems Analyst leads reporting and analytics efforts, delivering actionable insights that influence sales strategies and decision-making processes. The position also oversees system projects, manages technology vendors, and recommends innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency and support the company’s growth ambitions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with a focus on application development.
- Proven experience supporting, administering, or developing within Salesforce environments.
- Experience in application development and management of integration platforms.
- Programming familiarity in .Net, Progress, or other 4GL programming languages.
- Strong ability to influence and execute initiatives across multiple departments within a matrixed organization.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders holding diverse interests, demonstrating a team-oriented approach.
- Proven project leadership capabilities with critical thinking skills; ability to manage multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness and ability for minimal travel as required.
Responsibilities
- System Integration & Architecture: Collaborate with IT and external vendors to manage ERP and enterprise system integrations, ensuring data integrity, seamless processes, and support for future system enhancements.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, automate manual processes, and enhance user experience to increase productivity and system adoption.
- User Support & Enablement: Serve as a senior point of contact for users, troubleshooting issues, providing training, and ensuring adherence to standardized processes.
- Analytics & Reporting Strategy: Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics tools that provide insights into pipeline performance, pricing strategies, customer behavior, and sales effectiveness.
- Governance & Data Quality: Establish and enforce data governance standards to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance across all platforms.
- Project Leadership: Lead or support system-related projects, including new feature rollouts, system upgrades, and enhancements, coordinating efforts across cross-functional teams.
- Vendor & Tool Management: Evaluate, select, and manage third-party applications and tools to ensure they align with business objectives and deliver optimal ROI.
- Strategic Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to leadership by recommending technology-driven improvements that support sales strategies and long-term business growth.
