A highly regarded investment management organization is seeking a customer-focused and technically versatile Systems Analyst to join its IT team. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional end-user support, maintaining critical technology infrastructure, and partnering with business stakeholders to ensure a seamless technology experience across the organization.

The Systems Analyst will provide hands-on support within a sophisticated, mission-critical investment environment where technology reliability, responsiveness, and service excellence are essential. This position combines executive-level technical support, endpoint and systems administration, infrastructure troubleshooting, collaboration technology support, vendor management, and participation in strategic technology initiatives, including AI-enabled workplace solutions.

  • Compensation: $140,000 – $180,000 base salary
  • Compensation is primarily delivered through base salary
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Monday–Thursday onsite, Friday remote)

  • Preferred background supporting financial services, investment management, private equity, hedge fund, or other mission-critical business environments
  • End User Support & Customer Service
  • Deliver exceptional technical support to employees across the organization with a strong emphasis on responsiveness, professionalism, and customer service.
  • Provide white-glove support to executives and senior leadership, ensuring a seamless and reliable technology experience.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, application, and connectivity issues through in-person, remote, and on-call support channels.
  • Support both local employees and international travelers, ensuring continuous access to business-critical systems and applications.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues involving Microsoft 365, Outlook, OneDrive, Teams, Zoom, Slack, Adobe Acrobat, Bloomberg Terminal, and other enterprise applications.
  • Serve as a trusted technology partner by identifying solutions that enhance productivity and business effectiveness.
  • Endpoint & Systems Administration
  • Administer and support Windows 11, macOS, iOS, and iPadOS environments.
  • Manage endpoint deployment, configuration, patching, maintenance, and lifecycle management using tools such as JAMF, PDQ, Intune, and related endpoint platforms.
  • Perform proactive monitoring and maintenance to ensure device reliability, security, and performance.
  • Troubleshoot authentication issues, application failures, operating systems, system logs, and device performance concerns.
  • Support endpoint security initiatives and technology best practices.
  • Infrastructure & Network Support
  • Support a hybrid environment consisting of cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
  • Assist with Microsoft 365 administration and support.
  • Support VMware environments, disaster recovery solutions, and business continuity initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot networking issues, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, switch administration, network port activations, and connectivity concerns.
  • Assist with firewall administration, security policies, and access management within a Palo Alto environment.
  • Support SQL Server and other business-critical enterprise systems.
  • Collaboration, AV & Workplace Technology
  • Support conference room technology, Zoom Rooms, and audiovisual systems across multiple office locations.
  • Assist with technology rollouts, upgrades, and workplace modernization initiatives.
  • Partner with users to evaluate and implement technology solutions that improve productivity and business outcomes.
  • Participate in AI technology deployment and adoption initiatives involving platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and other emerging workplace technologies.
  • Vendor & Project Management
  • Coordinate with software vendors, service providers, developers, and external technology partners to resolve issues and implement enhancements.
  • Manage support escalations through resolution while maintaining clear stakeholder communication.
  • Participate in technology projects, system implementations, testing efforts, upgrades, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to support processes, automation, operational efficiency, and overall user experience.
  • Required Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in systems administration, desktop support, IT infrastructure, or related technical support roles.
  • Experience providing executive-level and high-touch end-user support.
  • Experience supporting mission-critical environments, ideally within financial services, investment management, private equity, hedge funds, or similarly demanding industries.
  • Strong experience supporting both Windows and Apple ecosystems.
