System Analyst

• The Role
• • Translate complex healthcare billing requirements into configurable system rules to ensure accurate billing.
• • Own the logic layer for charge capture, claim construction, and payer rule application.
• • Partner with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into functional specifications for the billing engine.
• • Identify and prioritize billing defects, revenue leakage, and configuration gaps using data analysis.
• • Design scalable processes to accommodate new service lines, payer contracts, and business models.
• • Collaborate with engineering on requirement implementability, testability, and maintainability.

• What You'll Need
• • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field, or experience with SQL.
• • Experience documenting accounting conclusions or communicating complex information to senior stakeholders.
• • 5+ years of experience in system analysis, business analysis, or technical configurations.
• • Experience creating process improvements with automation and analysis.
• • Experience working with configurable systems such as billing platforms or rules engines.
• • Familiarity with healthcare billing standards (e.g., CPT/ICD coding, fee schedules).
