System Analyst

• Job Title: Systems Analyst
• Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid – Minimum 4 Days Onsite)

Job Summary

• The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of experience in systems analysis, Python scripting, automation, APIs, cloud technologies, and Agile development. Recent graduates with relevant internships or professional experience in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or Computer Information Systems are encouraged to apply.
• Key Responsibilities
• Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.
• Document business processes, workflows, functional requirements, and system specifications.
• Perform feasibility studies and cost-benefit analysis for proposed technical solutions.
• Develop Python scripts to automate manual processes.
• Build prototypes and proof-of-concepts for AI-enabled business solutions.
• Integrate AI models and APIs into business applications.
• Support automated quantity extraction and engineering model ingestion initiatives.
• Perform system analysis and recommend improvements aligned with TxDOT standards.
• Participate in testing, validation, troubleshooting, and deployment activities.
• Develop REST API integrations and data exchange processes.
• Utilize Git for source control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Support Agile sprint planning, backlog refinement, and rapid application development.
• Assist with Docker containerization and cloud-based deployments.
• Collaborate with developers, business users, and project teams.
• Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in:
• Computer Science
• Computer Information Systems
• Data Science
• Artificial Intelligence
• 1–3 years of Systems Analysis or Software Development experience.
• Experience gathering business requirements.
• Experience documenting functional specifications.
• Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Python programming experience.
• Understanding of AI/ML concepts.
• Experience writing automation scripts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
