About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Analyst III with experience in the utilities domain to join our team remotely from Allentown, PA. This 12-month contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with technical developers and business stakeholders to implement and support innovative technical solutions aligned with organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in analyzing complex systems, developing technical specifications, and facilitating seamless integration across multiple platforms, including legacy and modern systems. Reporting directly to the Technical Manager, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, coupled with at least five years of relevant experience in IT systems analysis, product management, or business analysis. Prior experience within the electric utilities industry is highly preferred, along with familiarity with large, complex enterprise systems. Candidates should have strong relationship management skills and excel in cross-functional team collaboration. Technical proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, and VB is desirable, along with a solid understanding of databases, system security, and troubleshooting techniques. Experience working within various project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and SAFe, will be advantageous. Excellent communication skills are essential, particularly the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
The Systems Analyst III will collaborate with business partners to identify optimal solutions that meet organizational needs, ensuring effective communication across teams. You will coordinate with the development team to support application lifecycle activities, including quarterly releases, defect resolution, and change management processes. The role involves working across cross-functional domains such as Cloud, Infrastructure, and Security, to ensure proper engagement in designing, building, and supporting application architecture and integration efforts. Documenting the integration of multiple systems, both new and legacy, is a key responsibility, requiring a comprehensive understanding of various system landscapes. You will gather and analyze stakeholder requirements, translating them into detailed technical specifications that guide development efforts. Staying current with emerging technology trends and industry developments is vital to recommend innovative solutions that enhance system performance and security.

As a full-time contractor with Pinnacle Group, you will have access to a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
