Title: Temporary Sustainability & Packaging Operations Analyst (Part-time)
Duration: 6 months contract
(Part-Time / 15-20 Hours per Week)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (primarily remote data-driven work with occasional onsite alignment at our Clark, NJ Operations Hub as needed)
Shift details: 1x per week in office, 4x per week remote
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
KPI Tracking: Pull, compile, and assess monthly sustainability and packaging KPIs and performance trends.
Data Extractions: Run Power BI extractions, manage data sets, and prepare routine sustainability reports.
Testing Coordination: Submit and track packaging recyclability testing requests with internal and external partners.
Operational Support: Assist with transactional data entries, system updates, and documentation of packaging sustainability efforts.
EPR Calculations: Calculate Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) fees.
Required Background & Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Sustainability, or a related technical discipline.
Experience: 1+ years of proven experience in package engineering, sustainability, or operational data analysis (cosmetics or consumer goods experience is a plus).
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in MS Excel (data manipulation, pivot tables, formulas) and experience extracting data from Power BI or database systems.
Competencies: Demonstrated skills in analyzing, reporting, and documenting quantitative information with a strong attention to detail.
Soft Skills: Well-organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently on highly structured, transactional tasks in a fast-paced environment.
