Position: Supply Chain Specialist
The Supply Chain Specialist supports the day-to-day planning and execution of supply chain operations, including logistics, inventory management, production scheduling, procurement support, and reporting. This role partners with Operations, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Finance to ensure materials are available, customer orders are fulfilled on time, and supply chain processes operate efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments while ensuring timely delivery and compliance with transportation regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels, material usage, and production schedules to maintain adequate supply and meet customer demand.
- Collaborate with Purchasing and suppliers to manage lead times, monitor supplier performance, and help prevent material shortages.
- Analyze supply chain data, inventory trends, and key performance metrics to identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements.
- Prepare reports and dashboards to support business decisions and communicate supply chain performance to leadership.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve supply chain issues, improve processes, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain, production planning, inventory management, procurement, or manufacturing operations.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency; Power BI experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Salary for the Supply Chain Analyst is up to $80k/year based on experience.
