About The Role

Sealing Technologies is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Administrator to join our dynamic team. This hybrid role, based in Stevensville, MD or Columbia, MD, involves close collaboration with various departments including Operations, R&D, Sales, and Finance. The primary responsibility of the Supply Chain Analyst is to ensure accurate forecasting, cost optimization, and uninterrupted supply chain operations for our suite of servers and Cyber-Fly-Away Kits. You will oversee the lifecycle of material costs, from initial forecasting to delivery, actively mitigating risks associated with fluctuating prices, high global demand, tariffs, and supplier vulnerabilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to strategic procurement processes and optimize supply chain efficiencies in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field. Proven experience in supply chain management, purchasing, or procurement within the technology or hardware sectors is essential. Candidates should have a demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with large OEM vendors and distributors, along with strong negotiation skills. Proficiency in procurement software and tools, coupled with experience in purchasing computer equipment and system subcomponents, is required. An analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for decision-making, familiarity with relevant industry regulations, and knowledge of electronic markets such as NAND memory, processors, and storage markets are highly desirable. Additionally, expertise in data modeling, forecasting, and managing tight supply chain environments to ensure consistent inventory levels is crucial.

Responsibilities

Your core responsibilities will include collaborating with R&D, Sales, Manufacturers, and Distributors to identify market trends and analyze data for potential savings or cost increases. Monitoring the technology market to track shifting costing trends for critical hardware components such as motherboards, RAM modules, HDD/SSD, and CPUs is vital. You will partner with procurement teams to project upcoming price fluctuations and lead-time shifts, proactively addressing risks associated with volatile markets. Managing indirect expenses like shipping, tariffs, duties, and import fees is also part of your role, seeking alternative sourcing or classification solutions to minimize costs. Collecting and analyzing data on component pricing, lead times, and supply chain operations will help identify bottlenecks and improve efficiency. Routine evaluations of vendors and distributors will ensure delivery stability and fulfillment capacity. You will continuously measure supply chain performance indicators, such as forecasting accuracy and defect trends, and synthesize insights into actionable reports for senior leadership, supporting strategic decision-making and operational excellence.
