THE OPPORTUNITY
- We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Data & Analytics, to lead the strategy, development, and delivery of enterprise data and analytics capabilities that empower business teams with trusted, actionable insights. This leader will partner across functional areas to align analytics investments with business objectives, drive adoption of modern self-service analytics, and ensure the delivery of scalable, governed, and AI-ready data solutions.
- The successful candidate brings a unique blend of leadership, business partnership, and technical expertise, guiding teams across semantic modeling, reporting, and analytics enablement. Leveraging technologies including Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Power Platform, SQL, Python, Spark, and Lakehouse architectures, this role will play a critical part in advancing data-driven culture and accelerating business outcomes through analytics and innovation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of data analysts, and business intelligence professionals, establishing clear priorities, delivery standards, and accountability for business outcomes.
- Partner closely with leaders across Marketing, Operations, Finance, HR, and other business functions to understand strategic objectives, business processes, KPIs, and decision-making needs, translating them into scalable data and analytics solutions.
- Own the end-to-end delivery of analytics products and data solutions, including discovery, requirements gathering, architecture, development, testing, deployment, adoption, and ongoing support within an agile delivery framework.
- Design and oversee modern Microsoft Fabric and Lakehouse architecture that provide trusted, governed, and scalable data foundations for enterprise reporting, self-service analytics, AI, and advanced analytics initiatives.
- Guide the design and optimization of enterprise semantic models, including dimensional modeling, business hierarchies, calculation logic, reusable metrics, performance tuning, documentation, and adherence to data standards.
- Ensure consistent and accurate enterprise KPI definitions by partnering with business stakeholders to define, document, standardize, and govern business rules, metrics, and data assets across the organization.
- Direct the design and delivery of intuitive, executive-ready Power BI dashboards and analytics solutions that drive actionable insights, improve decision-making, and enhance user adoption.
- Establish and enforce enterprise data governance, security, and compliance standards, including workspace management, row-level security, object-level security, data sensitivity classifications, and controlled information sharing.
- Enable and scale governed self-service analytics by delivering certified data products, reusable semantic models, training programs, establishing analytics center of excellence (CoE) standards, and ongoing coaching for business analysts and data consumers.
- Implement best practices across solution development, testing, deployment, monitoring, source control, documentation, and operational support to ensure reliability, scalability, and maintainability of analytics products.
- Continuously monitor data quality, platform performance, capacity utilization, solution adoption, and business value realization, driving proactive improvements and operational excellence.
- Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, recommendations, and strategic trade-offs effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and capabilities across Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Power Platforms (Power Apps, Power Automate), Copilot enabled AI, automation, and analytics, recommending and implementing innovations that align with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards.
THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data & Analytics, or a related field. Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
- Progressive experience delivering enterprise data, business intelligence, and analytics solutions, with a proven track record of leading technical teams, driving cross-functional initiatives, and partnering with business stakeholders to achieve measurable business outcomes.
- Strong business acumen and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to facilitate discovery sessions, challenge assumptions constructively, translate business requirements into scalable analytics solutions, and communicate complex technical concepts in clear business language.
- Advanced expertise in Power BI, including semantic model design, DAX, Power Query, report development, performance optimization, security, deployment, and governance practices that enable trusted self-service analytics.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and modern data platforms, including Lakehouse architecture, OneLake Catalog, data pipelines, notebooks, Spark-based processing, and enterprise data engineering practices.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data transformation, automation, validation, and analytics, combined with deep knowledge of dimensional modeling, data warehousing, Lakehouse architecture, data quality, metadata management, lineage, and data governance.
- Demonstrated leadership in agile delivery using Azure DevOps, SDLC best practices, source control, testing, release management, operational support, prioritization, continuous improvement, and talent development within fast-paced, evolving environments.

- Modern Data Platform & Engineering Expertise: Leverages Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Lakehouse architectures, SQL, Python, and Spark to build scalable, reliable, and efficient data products. Apply modern data engineering practices to support analytics, automation, and enterprise reporting needs.
- Data Architecture, Governance & Quality: Establishes and maintains data standards across dimensional modeling, metadata, lineage, security, access controls, and data quality. Promotes governance practices that ensure trusted, scalable, and AI-ready data assets.
- Communication, Influence & Problem Solving: Communicates complex technical concepts, trade-offs, and recommendations effectively to both business and technical audiences. Uses structured analytical thinking to solve complex problems, drive alignment, and implement sustainable solutions.
- Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement: Leads agile delivery, prioritization, process improvement, and talent development initiatives. Establishes reusable standards, measures solution adoption and performance, and continuously improves delivery practices to maximize business value.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Relevant Microsoft certifications in Power BI, Fabric, Power Platforms, or related technologies.
- Experience supporting enterprise-wide self-service analytics and governed business-led analytics operating models.
- Familiarity with modern DevOps and analytics engineering practices, including CI/CD, Git, deployment automation, monitoring, and platform optimization.
- Experience integrating data across core enterprise functions, including manufacturing, supply chain, commercial, finance, HR, ERP, and CRM systems.
