2. About the Opportunity:
The Senior HR Benefits & Leave Analyst is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing employee benefit and leave programs across the organization. This role ensures compliance, accuracy, and effective service delivery of these programs, contributing to employee well-being and organizational effectiveness. The position collaborates with various internal teams and external vendors to support benefit administration and continuous improvement.
3. Responsibilities:
- Design, administer, and evaluate health, welfare, retirement, and ancillary benefit programs.
- Lead annual benefits enrollment, including planning, system testing, vendor coordination, and communications.
- Ensure accuracy of benefit enrollments, changes, terminations, payroll deductions, and audit data.
- Serve as subject matter expert on employee leaves of absence and workplace accommodations, including ADA compliance.
- Manage leave cases in partnership with third-party administrators covering FMLA, disability, parental, military, and other leaves.
- Develop and present communications to promote program awareness and understanding.
- Identify and implement improvements in benefit and leave programs and processes.
- Collaborate with HR Information Systems on system configuration, data integrity, and reporting.
- Manage relationships with benefit, leave, and retirement vendors to ensure effective administration.
- Maintain policies and documentation to comply with federal and state legislation.
- Track compliance requirements and prepare necessary reports and filings.
- Analyze data to enhance plans and employee experience.
- Lead employee well-being programming and partner with employee resource groups on health initiatives.
- Provide support across HR teams as needed.
4. Requirements:
- Experience administering complex benefit, leave, disability, and accommodation programs.
- Knowledge of compliance requirements and relevant legislation including DOL, IRS, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, ERISA, and other federal and state laws.
- Ability to interpret laws, policies, and plan documents accurately.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- Starting base salary range: $87,500 to $109,350.
- Full salary range: $87,500 to $131,200.
- Additional eligibility for an annual incentive based on company and individual performance.
- Salaries vary by location and candidate qualifications.
