We are looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst to support financial planning and performance analysis for a growing logistics organization in Franklin, Tennessee. This role will turn complex data into clear business insights, build robust forecasting models, and help leadership evaluate operational and financial results. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to translate numbers into practical recommendations.
Responsibilities:
- • Develop and maintain financial models that support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning initiatives.
- • Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- • Prepare variance reporting that explains differences between actual performance, forecasts, and budget targets.
- • Perform ad hoc financial evaluations to support strategic decisions, pricing considerations, and operational planning.
- • Gather, organize, and interpret large data sets to produce meaningful insights for business leaders.
- • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve reporting accuracy and strengthen financial decision-making.
- • Create presentations and summary reports that communicate financial findings to management in a clear and actionable way.
- • Monitor key performance indicators and recommend actions based on business and financial performance.
- • Proven experience in financial analysis within a corporate or operational business environment.
- • Strong capability in building and refining financial models for planning and performance assessment.
- • Demonstrated expertise in variance analysis and identifying key business drivers behind financial results.
- • Ability to complete ad hoc analysis quickly while maintaining accuracy and sound judgment.
- • Experience using data mining techniques to extract, validate, and interpret information from multiple sources.
- • Advanced proficiency with spreadsheets and financial reporting tools.
- • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to diverse stakeholders.
