Sr. Financial Analyst, Commercial Finance

A great UHY client is seeking a Sr. Analyst, Finance – Commercial to support and enhance commercial finance activities within a global manufacturing organization. This role will partner closely with cross-functional teams to drive data-backed decision-making, support pricing and quoting initiatives, and provide financial insights to improve profitability and long-term value creation.

• Sr. Analyst, Finance – Commercial Responsibilities
• Support the development of scalable commercial finance processes and systems to enable business growth
• Serve as a financial advisor to commercial and operational leadership teams
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Engineering, Procurement, Plant Controllers, and Accounting
• Challenge assumptions and provide recommendations focused on profitability and long-term value
• Support customer pricing and quoting activities, including development of pricing models and templates
• Perform cost-to-produce analysis and full profitability modeling
• Conduct market analysis and develop “next best alternative” scenarios
• Perform scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis
• Review, validate, and track pricing changes and approvals
• Develop quotes and deliverables within required timelines
• Support win/loss analysis and capture key commercial insights
• Analyze customer, product, and segment profitability to identify margin improvement opportunities
• Evaluate raw material exposure and cost impacts on profitability
• Analyze monthly and year-to-date performance against budget and prior year
• Support development of financial models, profitability databases, and Power BI dashboards
• Assist with development and enhancement of CRM tools such as Salesforce
• Support capital and business case development, including Commercial and special project capital expenditure requests (CERs)
• Build financial models to evaluate project returns, risks, and strategic alignment

• Sr. Analyst, Finance – Commercial Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Experience supporting pricing, quoting, or commercial finance activities preferred
• Experience within a manufacturing environment preferred
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualization tools (Power BI preferred)
• Strong communication and ability to partner cross-functionally
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment
