Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for a Software Tester / QA Analyst / Automation Engineer. The role involves designing and executing test cases, performing manual and automated testing of bakery management and related software systems, and validating new features before deployment. The individual will document test results, track defects, and collaborate with engineering, operations, and support teams to ensure issues are resolved efficiently. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing requirements, maintaining test scripts and regression suites, and contributing to continuous improvement of testing processes and quality standards. The role also supports release readiness activities and helps ensure that internal tools and platforms deliver a reliable, high-quality experience for team members and customers.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Software Testing and Quality Assurance skills, with experience validating functionality and user experience.
Candidates should possess Test Execution and Test Cases skills, including creating, maintaining, and running manual and automated tests.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret requirements, identify defects, and troubleshoot issues effectively.
Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar) is beneficial.
Familiarity with defect tracking and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, or comparable platforms) is preferred.
Understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and release management practices is advantageous.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment are required.
Relevant education or certifications in computer science, information systems, or software quality assurance are a plus.
