Snowflake Data Architect

We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Data Architect to lead the design and architecture of modern, scalable data solutions using Snowflake and Dataiku DSS.

• 💼 Key Responsibilities
• Design solution and pipeline architecture for the Snowflake foundation and Dataiku transformation layer.
• Define dimensional modeling strategies across approximately 15 reusable data products.
• Develop metadata-driven designs for transformation services.
• Architect historical data solutions aligned with SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration and data requirements.
• Establish technical governance, design standards, architecture reviews, and code-review practices.
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentoring to engineering and delivery squads.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Design reusable facts, dimensions, and domain-aligned data products.
• Architect Dataiku transformation flows across the Prepared and Consumed layers in Snowflake.
• Define data models, transformation patterns, dataset standards, and semantic structures.
• Establish automation frameworks, reusable components, and AI-assisted/Copilot engineering patterns.
• Drive Snowflake performance tuning, RBAC, cost optimization, scheduling, and orchestration.

• 🛠️ Required Skills
• Strong experience with Snowflake architecture and modern data platform patterns.
• Hands-on expertise with Dataiku DSS and data transformation workflows.
• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Expertise in data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and data product architecture.
• Experience with Snowflake performance tuning, RBAC, cost optimization, scheduling, and orchestration.
• Strong understanding of SAP ECC and S/4HANA data architecture and alignment.
• Understanding of SAP BW, Essbase, and reporting transformation concepts.
• Experience with technical governance, architecture standards, reusable frameworks, and engineering best practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
