  • Role Summary
  • We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Administrator / Data Platform Engineer with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on Snowflake administration experience to manage, optimize, secure, and support enterprise-scale Snowflake data platforms. The candidate will be responsible for platform administration, security governance, performance tuning, user access management, automation, monitoring, and operational excellence across cloud-based data ecosystems. Responsibilities align with Snowflake administrative functions such as role management, SCIM-based provisioning, warehouse administration, security, governance, monitoring, and performance optimization
  • Experience
  • 4+ years of Snowflake Administration experience
  • 6+ years of overall Data Platform or Data Engineering experience
  • Experience supporting production-critical Snowflake environments
  • Experience working in Azure cloud environments
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Snowflake Platform Administration
  • Administer and maintain Snowflake accounts, databases, schemas, warehouses, resource monitors, and storage integrations.
  • Create and manage users, roles, grants, RBAC hierarchy, and access policies.
  • Implement enterprise security controls and governance frameworks.
  • Manage Snowflake account parameters and platform configurations.
  • Identity & Access Management
  • Configure and support SSO, SCIM provisioning, and federation integrations.
  • Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and least-privilege security models.
  • Manage user onboarding, role assignment, and access reviews.
  • Support audit and compliance requirements.
  • Performance & Cost Optimization
  • Monitor query performance and optimize workloads.
  • Manage virtual warehouses and auto-scaling configurations.
  • Tune clustering, caching, data retention, and storage utilization.
  • Analyze platform utilization and recommend cost-saving measures.
  • Monitoring & Operations
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, and operational dashboards.
  • Troubleshoot platform incidents and performance issues.
  • Support production releases, upgrades, and platform maintenance activities.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis for platform-related incidents.
  • Data Governance & Security
  • Implement masking policies, row-level security, and data classification.
  • Support governance initiatives including tagging and metadata management.
  • Manage audit trails, access history, and compliance reporting.
  • Collaborate with security and governance teams.
  • Automation & DevOps
  • Develop automation scripts using Python, SnowSQL, or Terraform.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines for Snowflake deployments.
  • Automate user provisioning, role assignments, and operational tasks.
  • Implement Infrastructure-as-Code practices for Snowflake environments.

  • Knowledge of Data Governance tools such as Atlan, Collibra, or Alation.

  • Ability to work with global delivery teams.
  • Experience supporting Production, KTLO, and operational environments.
