About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated Entry-Level Settlements Analyst to begin their career in the banking industry by joining a FED Settlements team of nine based in St. Paul, MN.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily trade settlement activities using internal proprietary systems by entering, delivering, and settling buy, sell, and repo trades.
  • Work will be driven through a shared inbox and standardized forms.
  • Review trade details, identify and resolve mismatches between systems.
  • Partner with Trade Service Representatives to ensure timely and accurate corrections.
  • Manually post penalties and resolve settlement exceptions.
  • Communicate trade statuses and issues across internal teams to support smooth and compliant settlement operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree Or Two Years of equivalent/finance experience

Required Skills

  • Excel experience (understanding of v-look ups and basic formulas, filtering and sorting features, basic formulas)
  • Curious and Driven
  • Good with numbers
  • Great communication, energy, and work ethic!

Preferred Skills

  • A major in Finance
  • Operations experience
  • Excel (Pivot Tables, VBA, Macros, COUNTIF, SUMIF)
  • Coding is a huge plus (VBA, C++)
  • Tableau experience

Pay range and compensation package

  • Range: $17-19/hour
  • Benefits- Dental, Vision, Health, 401k
