Senior Workato & Data Integration Engineer (.NET/Workday)

At UnivEdge Consulting, we are hiring a Senior Workato & Data Integration Engineer (.NET/Workday) for one of our valued enterprise clients. This is a long-term, 12-month contract-to-hire opportunity for an experienced integration professional who can design and deliver scalable, production-grade integrations between Workday HCM and enterprise cloud platforms.

• About the Role
• We are seeking a Workato & Data Integration Engineer to lead process automation and integration architecture between Workday HCM and enterprise cloud platforms (such as Dell Boomi, Microsoft Fabric, and custom APIs).
• In this role, you will design, build, and optimize Workato "recipes" and custom API connections while leveraging custom .NET development to ensure seamless, high-availability data flow across enterprise systems.

• Key Responsibilities
• • Workflow Automation: Design, build, and maintain robust Workato recipes to automate core business processes between Workday HCM and external enterprise systems.
• • Custom API Development: Build custom connectors, REST/SOAP APIs, and webhooks; utilize .NET coding for custom data transformations and logic when required.
• • System Integration: Integrate Workday with enterprise platforms (including Dell Boomi and data platforms like Microsoft Fabric).
• • Data Transformation: Optimize complex data mapping, schema transformations, and JSON/XML payloads to ensure data integrity across environments.
• • Monitoring & Maintenance: Troubleshoot active integrations, handle error handling/logging, and ensure optimal uptime and performance.

Required Qualifications:

• • Workato Expertise: Hands-on experience designing and deploying production-grade Workato recipes.
• • Workday HCM Knowledge: Strong understanding of Workday integration points, data structures, and APIs.
• • Development Skills: Hands-on programming capability in .NET (C#) for custom integration logic.
• • API & Protocols: Solid background with REST/SOAP APIs, Webhooks, JSON, XML, and middleware tools (e.g., Dell Boomi).
