Senior Technical Services Analyst

2. About the Opportunity:

The Senior Technical Services Analyst on the Data Migration team within Professional Services is responsible for managing the complete delivery of complex data migration projects for enterprise-level customers, including state, federal, and multi-agency clients. This role ensures that historical operational data is accurately migrated and positioned for success in the new system. The position requires collaboration across teams and with customers to define data requirements, design and execute migration strategies, validate data, and contribute to the evolution of data migration processes toward scalable automation.

3. Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end data migration projects, including requirements gathering, extraction, transformation, loading, validation, and go-live support
• Analyze legacy data structures and design migration plans that align with the organization''s platform architecture
• Write advanced SQL queries to extract and transform data from diverse sources
• Address complex migration challenges such as multi-system consolidations and non-standard data structures
• Perform quality assurance on deployed data and resolve discrepancies
• Translate customer operational models into platform-compatible data architectures
• Identify and communicate gaps between legacy and new systems, proposing solutions or escalating as needed
• Guide customers through data-related decisions using deep platform and industry knowledge
• Act as the technical expert during customer discussions about data scope and constraints
• Mentor junior analysts on SQL, data modeling, validation, and migration best practices
• Review and provide direction on active migration projects to ensure quality and consistency
• Contribute to the development of internal tools, processes, and documentation
• Collaborate with Implementation, Data Operations, Product, and Engineering teams to coordinate data work and provide feedback
• Support automation initiatives, including ETL pipelines, scripting, and AI-assisted workflows
• Stay informed on modern data engineering practices to enhance migration delivery

4. Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in data migration, data operations, or technical implementation within a SaaS environment
• Proficient in writing complex SQL queries, including joins, CTEs, subqueries, and window functions
• Strong understanding of relational databases, structured data formats, and data modeling
• Experience managing enterprise-level customer relationships with technical depth
• Ability to communicate complex data concepts clearly to customers
• Experience mentoring others in SQL and data migration methodologies
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and data cleansing
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
• Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

Salary: $110,000
