About the Opportunity:
The SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER, DATA role focuses on designing and developing robust data pipelines and architecture that support the extraction of actionable insights. This position contributes by collaborating across teams to build scalable, automated data solutions that align with organizational goals and advance data-driven initiatives. The role is essential in ensuring high-quality code, maintaining asynchronous systems, and integrating ML/AI awareness to support the organization's data needs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Design data architectures that are scheduled, automated, and replicable.
- Collaborate with product managers, data analysts, and machine learning engineers.
- Translate product requirements into actionable project plans.
- Apply engineering best practices including testing and design patterns.
- Monitor and maintain asynchronous systems using APIs, streaming, and multithreading.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of industry experience in data engineering or related roles.
- Expertise in Python and fluency in SQL.
- Proven experience designing and implementing end-to-end data pipelines.
- Familiarity with asynchronous systems and related technologies.
- Strong understanding of automated testing and engineering best practices.
- Product-oriented mindset with prioritization skills based on business impact.
- Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Working knowledge of ML/AI deployment and monitoring.
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
The anticipated total compensation for this role is $165,000 - $221,000, depending on factors such as experience, skills, location, and internal equity.
