You will build the data and analytics foundation for an AI-powered platform from the ground up. Owning the pipelines, models, and customer-facing dashboards, you’ll transform massive operational datasets into actionable intelligence. Starting with consumption-based pricing and expanding into predictive sentiment analysis, your work directly defines the data strategy for a $1.25B industry leader.

What You Will Do

• Design and implement the core data platform, including schemas, aggregation layers, and pipelines to serve as the source of truth for AI operations.
• Develop customer-facing analytics dashboards and APIs using Next.js and Postgres to provide live visibility into AI task execution and usage.
• Build audit-grade usage metering and reconciliation systems to enable consumption-based pricing and connect product data to financial reporting.

The ideal candidate

• 5+ years of experience building backend or data systems for production SaaS, with deep expertise in Postgres and relational modeling.
• Proven ability to design evolvable APIs and data contracts, ideally with a background in billing, metering, or financial systems.
• Strong fluency in applied data science and ML techniques, with the judgment to know when to leverage statistical models versus complex neural networks.
