  • Job Summary
  • We are seeking a Senior Software Configuration Analyst with expertise in Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS) to configure, support, and maintain mission-critical applications used by electric utility operations. The ideal candidate will have experience configuring ADMS modules, supporting system integrations, troubleshooting production issues, and collaborating with engineering, operations, and IT teams to deliver reliable and efficient grid management solutions.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Configure, maintain, and support ADMS applications based on business and operational requirements.
  • Configure network models, displays, alarms, tags, device mappings, and operational workflows within the ADMS environment.
  • Support integrations between ADMS and enterprise systems including SCADA, OMS, GIS, EMS, AMI, DERMS, and CIS.
  • Analyse software configuration requirements and implement system enhancements.
  • Perform system testing, validation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  • Support software deployments, upgrades, patches, and production releases.
  • Work closely with utility operations, engineering, business users, vendors, and project teams to implement configuration changes.
  • Develop and maintain configuration documentation, procedures, and technical specifications.
  • Participate in system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and production support.
  • Ensure software configurations comply with utility standards, cybersecurity policies, and operational requirements.
  • Provide production support and participate in on-call activities as needed.
  • Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience configuring or supporting ADMS or utility operational systems.
  • Experience with one or more ADMS platforms such as Schneider Electric, GE Grid Solutions, Siemens, Oracle, or OSI.
  • Strong understanding of electric utility distribution operations.
  • Experience working with SCADA, OMS, GIS, EMS, AMI, or related utility applications.
  • Knowledge of software configuration management, system integration, and change management.
  • Experience with SQL, scripting, XML/JSON, APIs, or interface troubleshooting is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Experience supporting production environments and software releases.
  • Preferred (Nice to have) Qualifications
  • Utility industry experiences supporting electric transmission or distribution operations.
  • Familiarity with utility communication protocols such as DNP3, ICCP, IEC 61850, or CIM.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps processes.
  • Knowledge of NERC CIP compliance and utility cybersecurity standards is a plus.
