- Senior Research Analyst
- Location: Houston or Dallas
The Senior Research Analyst is an execution-focused role responsible for maintaining market data, producing recurring research deliverables, and supporting brokers and clients with timely, accurate market intelligence. This role is critical to ensuring data integrity and consistency across reports and internal tools, and to establishing data standards and recurring reporting processes for the industrial and retail sectors. The Research Analyst also serves as the firm's first point of contact for routine research requests.
You'll shape how Partners tracks industrial and retail research across Texas, with the room to set the standards and processes from the ground up. You'll report directly to the SVP of Research, with your work feeding into live pursuits and client pitches across four major markets, and a documented path to Research Manager.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Data & Reporting Execution
- Collect, validate, and maintain local market data (vacancy, rental rates, comps, ownership changes) using CoStar and internal systems
- Produce recurring market reports and dashboards with a high degree of accuracy and consistency
- Prepare charts, tables, maps, and visuals for internal and client-facing use
- Ad-Hoc & Broker Support
- Respond to standard research requests from brokers and internal teams (submarket comps, basic trend pulls, rate summaries)
- Maintain internal research databases and ensure information is current and dependable
- Collaboration
- Work closely with senior research team members to support larger reports and initiatives.
- Partner with marketing and brokerage teams to support pitches and client deliverables.
What You’ll Have
- Bachelor's degree in economics, real estate, finance, analytics, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience as a researcher, economist, or analyst in the private sector; commercial real estate experience preferred, but strong analytical backgrounds from adjacent fields are welcome.
- Working knowledge of the Texas commercial real estate market and its major property types.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, structured data cleanup, and chart production.
- Familiarity with CoStar or comparable commercial real estate databases, along with a healthy skepticism about where third-party data can be unreliable.
- Strong written communication, with the ability to produce market commentary that is precise, sourced, and defensible under scrutiny from brokers who know the market firsthand.
- Comfort working directly with brokers and senior producers, and confidence presenting findings to leadership.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent requests against competing deadlines without dropping commitments.
What’s In It for You
- Be part of one of the fastest-growing full-service commercial real estate firms in Texas, backed by an integrated platform spanning Investments, Development, Brokerage, and Property Management.
- Gain access to a diverse suite of institutional-quality investment offerings through Partners Capital.
- Collaborate with a driven, high-performance team that values integrity, teamwork, and long-term partnerships.
- Competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth within a rapidly expanding organization.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic firm focused on growth and excellence in commercial real estate. We value candidates who bring energy, initiative, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
