JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is hiring a Pricing Analyst to join the Business Development team of a growing government contractor in Huntsville, AL. This person will play a key role in supporting new business pursuits by developing pricing strategies and cost proposals for federal contract opportunities. They will work closely with business development, capture, proposal, and program teams to create competitive, compliant, and profitable bids. Responsibilities include analyzing RFP requirements, developing labor and cost estimates, conducting Price-to-Win (PTW) analysis, building pricing models, and supporting proposal submissions. The ideal candidate will have experience with government contracting, strong financial and analytical skills, and an understanding of FAR and CAS regulations. This is a fully onsite position with significant visibility to leadership and a direct impact on business growth efforts.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 7+ years of pricing experience supporting federal government contracts
• Experience owning pricing efforts from RFP receipt through proposal submission
• Strong cost proposal development experience (labor, materials, subcontractors, ODCs, travel, fee)
• Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and government contracting regulations
• Experience building pricing models and cost volumes in Excel
• Ability to perform basis of estimate (BOE) development and cost analysis
• Experience working directly with capture, contracts, finance, and proposal teams
• Ability to develop competitive pricing strategies and conduct price-to-win analysis
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas, modeling)

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field
