Senior Machine Learning Researcher

A leading global trading firm is growing its ML research team and looking for researchers who design and build their own model architectures. You'll own the modeling work end to end, from idea to implementation, working hand-in-hand with engineers, traders, and quants on problems where better models translate directly into better outcomes.

• What you'll do
• Design and implement novel model architectures from the ground up
• Drive deep learning research — transformers, neural networks, sequence modeling
• Build and train large models at scale
• Collaborate closely with traders and quants to turn research into production impact

• What we're looking for
• PhD with a strong publication record (Google Scholar, top venues) preferred
• Demonstrated experience building your own model architectures at scale — not LLM application/fine-tuning work
• Depth in deep learning, transformers, and neural network modeling
• Time series and statistics experience a plus, not a requirement
• Background combining big tech and startup environments works well here
• 3+ years of relevant experience; flexible on level for the right person
