Senior Machine Learning Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior ML Engineer to build and scale intelligent search and data products. This role combines machine learning, information retrieval, ranking, and backend engineering to improve relevance, latency, and scalability across customer-facing platforms.

Requirements:

• • Build solutions for information retrieval, ranking, semantic search, query understanding, and recommendations
• • Develop high-throughput, low-latency search APIs and retrieval systems using Python, Typesense, and AWS
• • Work with embeddings, vector search, hybrid retrieval, and query rewriting
• • 8+ years in ML, software engineering, data science, or data-intensive product systems
• • Strong Python and cloud experience; AWS preferred
• • Production experience in information retrieval, ranking, NLP/embeddings, or distributed systems
• • Experience building scalable backend systems, APIs, or data platforms
• • Strong problem-solving and communication skills in ambiguous, fast-paced environments

Prefered:

Typesense, Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, FAISS, LLM-powered retrieval, hybrid search, recommendation systems, or query understanding.
