Description:

Senior Business Analyst with deep expertise in transportation, warehouse, and supply-chain operations to support the warehouse system, enhancement, and ongoing optimization of enterprise logistics systems, including Oracle Transportation Management (OTM). This role serves as a critical bridge between business operations and technology teams, translating operational needs into clear requirements and ensuring solutions are delivered effectively, tested thoroughly, and adopted successfully across the organization.

• Position Overview
• You will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to clarify requirements, reduce ambiguity, and deliver high-quality features from concept through deployment.
• You will also use AI tools responsibly to accelerate analysis, documentation while maintaining strong quality, security, and maintainability standards.
• Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process reviews.
• Develop process flows, use cases, user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria to guide development and testing. Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities within transportation, warehouse, and logistics workflows.

• Key Responsibilities
• System Implementation & Enhancement
• Support implementation, configuration, enhancement, and integration initiatives related to Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) and other supply-chain systems.
• Partner with technical teams to ensure system design aligns with operational requirements and business objectives.
• Translate complex operational processes into clear technical requirements that development teams can act on.
• Testing & Deployment Support
• Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), including test planning, execution tracking, and issue triage.
• Manage defect resolution processes, working with technical teams to prioritize and validate fixes.
• Understand legacy workflows and help migrate functionality into modern application & business process.
• Business Understanding & Stakeholder Alignment
• Translate business goals into clear technical plans, milestones, deliverables, and acceptance criteria.
• Work with business and technical stakeholders to clarify ambiguity and drive practical decisions.
• Think in workflows, constraints, outcomes, risks, and measurable impact.
• Communicate technical trade-offs in plain language to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Validate problems and solutions through feedback loops with users and stakeholders.
• Project & Stakeholder Coordination
• Apply project-management practices including planning, requirements tracking, risk identification, and mitigation.
• Coordinate across business users, technical teams, vendors, senior leadership, and external partners to ensure alignment throughout project lifecycles

• Required Skills & Experience
• 9+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, transportation management, logistics, and supply-chain processes.
• Demonstrated experience supporting system implementation, enhancement, integration, and process-improvement initiatives.
• Proven ability to gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
• Experience creating process flows, use cases, user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience coordinating UAT, defect resolution, deployment readiness, and post-implementation support.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Practical, hands-on exposure to Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) / Warehouse Management & Operation.
• Good knowledge of project-management practices, including planning, requirements tracking, risk management, and testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with requirements documentation tools and process-modeling techniques (e.g., BPMN, flowcharting).
• Understanding of integration points between transportation, warehouse management, and broader ERP/supply-chain systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly to varied audiences.
• Ability to communicate effectively with business users, technical teams, vendors, senior leaders, and external partners.
• Strong facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and drive initiatives to completion.
• Experience working in logistics, transportation, or distribution-focused organizations.
• Exposure to additional supply-chain or warehouse management systems (WMS, ERP platforms).
• Experience working in agile or hybrid project delivery environments.

• Certification in Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Project Management Certification, Scrum Certification are an asset but not required.
