Primary Services is excited to announce the role of Senior IT Business Analyst for a prestigious client in the energy industry. This opportunity supports a large, established organization where technology and business strategy work together to optimize complex Trading & Supply operations. The Senior IT Business Analyst will serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, leveraging deep Endur expertise to deliver solutions that improve operational performance and business value.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Trading & Supply stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into technology solutions.
• Gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional business requirements.
• Evaluate business processes, data flows, and system capabilities to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Assess project risks, feasibility, business impact, and solution alternatives.
• Maintain end-to-end traceability of business requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with software vendors, developers, and technical teams to ensure solutions meet business objectives.
• Configure, document, and validate system functionality and business processes.
• Coordinate testing activities and support user acceptance testing.
• Lead business analysis activities throughout project planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery.
• Support process improvement initiatives that reduce risk and maximize operational efficiency.
• Provide expertise across Endur modules, including Deal Capture, Settlements, Accounting, Tax, and Cmotion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of corporate IT experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst.
• Strong knowledge of Trading & Supply business processes.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Endur.
• Experience with Cmotion, Deal Capture, Settlements, Accounting, and Tax modules.
• Proficiency with business analysis methodologies, tools, and documentation techniques.
• Experience supporting Agile projects and delivery methodologies.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
• Ability to work onsite at least three days per week in downtown Houston.
