  • The Information Technology Division, located in Renton, WA, utilizes innovative technology to provide systems development, consulting, voice, and data communications services across the enterprise. The team plays a highly visible role in supporting the organization's global technology initiatives.
  • Requisition Summary
  • The Senior IT Controls Analyst is responsible for leading, planning, and managing compliance activities that support the company's Information Governance and Internal Controls program. This role is responsible for maintaining records and information policies, managing retention schedules, and performing audit activities to ensure IT compliance with governing standards, industry best practices, and SOX requirements.
  • This position will evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal controls while ensuring the completeness and accuracy of audit and compliance documentation within a complex IT environment.
  • Job Functions / Responsibilities
  • Guide business divisions in understanding requirements related to IT internal controls and records management.
  • Maintain the organization's records retention schedule and identify updates needed to comply with global retention requirements.
  • Stay current on IT policies, standards, procedures, and industry best practices.
  • Identify, obtain, and analyze information to understand IT and business processes under review.
  • Execute independent and objective examinations of complex information systems, data, and technologies according to the audit plan.
  • Perform IT General Controls (ITGC) and IT Application Controls (ITAC) testing.
  • Document testing procedures and findings through detailed audit workpapers.
  • Review workpapers and findings to ensure audit activities are properly documented.
  • Coordinate annual records destruction activities.
  • Participate in major information systems implementations to ensure appropriate IT controls and records management requirements are incorporated.
  • Deliver annual compliance training.
  • Develop and improve processes that enhance, automate, and simplify records management.
  • Present audit findings and concerns to management in a clear and organized manner.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors.
  • Qualifications
  • Demonstrate the highest ethical standards and appropriately handle confidential information.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex data.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work independently and within a global team environment.
  • Minimum of four years of experience in Information Technology, IT auditing, or SOX testing.
  • CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) certification required.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with SharePoint, Tableau, Power Automate, or SQL is preferred.
  • Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
  • Education
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
