This role is ideal for an Industrial Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Operations Research Engineer, Manufacturing Analytics Engineer, or Industrial Engineering Data Analyst with strong experience building analytical models for manufacturing operations.

  • What You'll Do
  • 70% – Primary Focus
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing capacity models covering target, forecast, and gated capacity.
  • Analyze cycle time, OEE, yield losses, bottlenecks, utilization, and throughput.
  • Build labor and overhead models to optimize headcount, utilization, and labor cost.
  • Connect capacity, labor, material flow, PFEP, and cost/COGS into integrated IE models.
  • Develop analytical models to support factory planning, capacity strategy, and operational efficiency.
  • Evaluate manufacturing scenarios and identify opportunities for productivity and cost improvement.
  • 30% – Secondary Focus
  • Develop scrap and cost models incorporating labor, overhead, material, and process-driven costs.
  • Support COGS modeling and manufacturing cost analysis.
  • Build business cases for capital investments using ROI, IRR, NPV, and cost-benefit analysis.
  • Develop OEE models covering availability, performance, and quality.
  • Create process flow diagrams (PFDs) and value stream maps to identify process inefficiencies.
  • Design scalable data models and analytics architecture for IE, capacity, labor, PFEP, and cost analytics.
  • Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Analytics, Manufacturing Modeling, or a related field.
  • Strong experience developing capacity and labor models within manufacturing environments.
  • Experience with manufacturing process analysis, bottleneck analysis, OEE, cycle time, yield, and throughput.
  • Experience with labor/headcount and overhead modeling.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with cost/COGS, scrap, or manufacturing financial models.
  • Advanced Excel modeling skills.
  • Experience with Python and/or SQL for data analysis.
  • Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
  • Experience creating process flow diagrams, value stream maps, or manufacturing process models.
  • Simulation Experience
  • Experience with one or more of the following is highly desirable:
  • FlexSim
  • AnyLogic
  • Simio
  • Preferred Background
