Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior IDMS Mainframe Programmer / Analyst (Hybrid position) with strong experience in IDMS, COBOL, JCL, and z/OS mainframe environments. The role will support application development, systems analysis, implementation, production support, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Online IDMS and Batch/COBOL applications.
Work with IDMS tools including ADSO, IDD, ADSC, MAPC, DDDL, DMLO, OLP, PFCH, and DME.
Develop and maintain COBOL and JCL programs in a z/OS environment.
Perform systems analysis, design, development, and project implementation.
Support IDMS screen mapping, including symbolic and physical mapping.
Provide application production support and troubleshooting.
Work with SAS, VegaSoft, VSAM, SPF, and TSO/ISPF.
Support project activities and IT customer service.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of recent programming experience in an IDMS/COBOL/JCL/z/OS mainframe environment.
5+ years of recent experience in systems analysis, development, and project implementation.
Strong IDMS and COBOL programming experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ADSO, IDD, ADSC, MAPC, DDDL, DMLO, OLP, PFCH, and DME.
Experience with SAS and VegaSoft.
Experience with VSAM, SPF, and TSO/ISPF.
Experience providing mainframe application production support.
Experience with project management and IT customer service.
